Food and Time Travel
Okay so I'm watching the Travel Channel just to have something on the TV. And they are having a Man vs. Food marathon, and somehow I've never seen this show. But I fear I'm hooked. This dude is completely ridiculous. How is it possible for one person to eat this much food? He had this pastrami sandwich in New York that was one pound of meat. 20 stack of pancakes, a huge (like the size of a small table )pizza in an hour. And the craziest thing? He doesn't weigh 600 pounds. He must excersise every moment he's not eating.

I finally read The Time Traveler's Wife. I've had it for awhile, and it's always been one of those I'll get to it one day kind of things. Well the commercials for the movie were intruiging me, so I started it last week. Wow. Just wow. It was so, so good. Seriously. Excellent. And I'd heard people singing it's praises for years, and I have to say, it lived up to the hype. It was interesting, well written, heart felt, romantic, funny, sad. I went through so many emotions while I read it. It took me about 4 days to finish it and I was sad when it was over (because I wanted more). I am so excited for the movie, if it's even a little bit as good as the book, I'll be happy.

Woo-hoo! Shark Week starts tonight. *singing Jaws theme in my head*

You might really be the only one I've ever heard of who didn't absolutely love it, lol. I remember a time, maybe a couple of years ago, when it seemed like everyone on my friends list was reading it. Maybe you'll like the movie better than the book?

Haha! I was kind of icked out! I was like, "Ewww... he's talking to the little girl. He just had sex with that little girl a while ago... when she was grown up."
